JLPT N2 passed/JLPT N2 合格

So I just checked my results for the JLPT N2 test that I took in December and I passed! When I saw 「合格」written at first I just couldn't believe it. It took a little while to sink in but I can't believe I pulled it off. The three years I've been studying Japanese and all the hard work that my teachers at Georgetown and at ICU (my study abroad school in Japan) put in really gave me the courage to continue on and succeed! I feel like it was just yesterday that I transferred to Georgetown and was learning hiragana and katakana in the classroom. I read a lot of things out there about how majoring in Japanese is just a waste of money and time and I feel that that statement can't be further from the truth. If you have a passion for something go and pursue it. There are so many times where I thought I could never reach a proficient level just in three years of study but it can be done! I'm so grateful to all my friends, family and teachers for all there support and I will continue to study and learn so I can pass the N1 exam and enter graduate school in Japan!
