So I've been living in Japan for a month now and working here is a little different from my study abroad experience. I don't mind putting in the hours but I'm always so tired when I return home, I barely have enough energy to take a shower and cook dinner. Hopefully I'll get into a routine and be at home by at least 8:30....that's my goal anyway. Besides the long hours I do enjoy my school, the kids and my co-workers. Everyone is nice and I feel that I'm becoming apart of the Amity family.
I finally have internet in my apartment (even though I applied for it a week before I moved into my apartment) and I have a phone now so everything is slowly falling into place. I'm getting use to all my classes and starting to see where I can have free time and when I can plan for lessons and everything. Hopefully I can start studying for the N1 proficiency exam soon. I wanted to go to a book store one of these weekends but my allergies are killing me! Since the start of April I have been a slave to my allergies. I can't walk out of the door without sneezing and my throat hurts. I can't go to the doctor yet because I have yet to receive my insurance card yet. I went to a pharmacy however to see if I could get anything over the counter and I was lucky enough to find something. It stops my runny nose and my sneezing but my throat is still sore....which is the worst!! I really hope spring hurries up and it gets to summer soon!
Anyway, all in all I'm enjoying my time here and work keeps my busy...a little too busy sometimes but as time goes on I know I'll get into the swing of things and everything will be like routine. I just hope these allergies of mine hurry and go away so I can go out and explore the city more!

Hey, I just applied to Amity and they offered me a teaching position at the school you're at. Any way, you could tell me a little more about it? Do you like it over there?
